Brentsville's Madeline Bohan (15) scored two goals Thursday during Brentsville's 11-1 win over Manassas Park during the quarterfinals of the Class 3 Region B tournament.

The Brentsville Tigers scored a season-high 11 goals Thursday to beat Manassas Park during the quarterfinals of the Class 3 Region B girls soccer tournament at home in Nokesville.

With the 11-1 victory, the top-seeded Tigers improved their record to 13-2-2 with a seven-game winning streak while advancing to play No. 4 Skyline in the semifinals after ending the season for the No. 8 Cougars.

Catharine Forst finished with two goals and two assists, helping Brentsville build an 8-0 halftime lead en route to an 11-0 advantage before Manassas Park scored its lone goal. Madeline Bohan and Madison Fitzpatrick added two goals apiece with one each from Katy Miller, Emma Thompson, Kristen Dobek, Ashley Foveaux and Cassie Avenick.

Emily Payne and Jackie Nguyen contributed one assist apiece.

Brentsville baseball 9, Manassas Park 0

Jake DeLisi pitched a perfect game Thursday to give the Brentsville Tigers a 9-0 victory over Manassas Park during the quarterfinals of the Class 3 Region B baseball tournament at home in Nokesville.

He struck out 10 over seven innings to give top-seeded Brentsville an 18-3 record and a spot in the semifinals against No. 4 William Monroe after ending the season for the No. 8 Cougars (4-15).

Offensively, Braeden Deslippe went 2-for-2 with two RBIs, a run and steal, while Luke Binsted went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, two steals, a double, run and walk. Collin Reid added a two-run homer with a walk on 1-for-3 hitting, while DeLisi went 2-for-4 with a double.

Kyle Bennett and the Battlefield Bobcats beat Langley 3-2 via shootout in the quarterfinals of the Class 6 Region D tournament.

Battlefield boys soccer 3, Langley 2

The Battlefield Bobcats never trailed Thursday, but they needed a shootout to beat Langley 3-2 in the quarterfinals of the Class 6 Region D boys soccer tournament at home in Haymarket.

The teams played to a 1-1 tie in regulation and a 2-2 time in overtime, but Battlefield won the shootout 4-1 to give the Bobcats an 11-5-1 record and a spot in the semifinals. Collin Ennis scored the clinching goal after Darrell Riddle, Zac Salazar and Colton Matthews built a 3-1 shootout lead for the Bobcats.

Earlier, Nick Jacobs scored the initial goal in the first half with an assist from Salazar, but the Saxons responded to enter halftime in a tie. Noor Hunt then gave Battlefield a 2-1 lead in the first overtime period with an assist by Tyler Schoettle, but Langley again responded quickly, setting up the shootout victory.
