Police have identified the victim of fatal Oct. 29 shooting in Manassas as Richard Webster, 21, also of Manassas, and have arrested three people in connection with his death.
Nieko Anderson, 19, of Manassas, has been charged with murder, Officer Sarah Maroney, of the City of Manassas Police Department, said in a press release issued Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Sofia Misuraca, 20, of Haymarket, and John Childs II, 25, of Manassas, have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery. The investigation remains ongoing, Maroney said in a news release.
Officers responded to the 10000 block of Leighton Place in the Barrington Park apartment complex for a report of a shooting at about 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
Officers located an adult male victim, Webster, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased, police said.
The shooting occurred in the 10000 block of Leighton Place in the Barrington Park apartments, which are located off Dumfries Road just west of its intersection with Hastings Drive.
