Hundreds of Prince William residents braved the heat Saturday afternoon to participate in a Black Lives Matter march that stretched 16 miles from Manassas to Dumfries, mostly along Prince William Parkway.

Dozens more turned out to the "Dumfries Demonstration of Solidarity and Action," held Friday night in Garrison Park.

Still more are expected to participate in a "Lights for Justice" candlelight vigil planned for 5 to 10 p.m. tonight at the Sean Connaughton Plaza at the Prince William County Complex in Woodbridge.

All are among the ongoing protests and demonstrations calling for an end to police brutality -- and for reforms to address racial inequalities -- in the wake of the May 25 police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Racial inequality, Yes! I received a speeding ticket in Woodbridge last year, went to court in Manassas. Court was three quarters full, ALL Black and Brown folks, not one white person. What is it White Folks don't Speed!

This picture is in Woodbridge near the Applebee's. I heard they marched from Liberia Ave. In Manassas to Prince William Parkway and Minnieville Rd in Woodbridge. Looks like the reporter got lost with the accuracy of his/her reporting.

Actually the caption doesn’t say where it is located, just that they walked from Dumfries to Manassas, primarily via PW Parkway, which goes right past the Applebee’s you’re referring to.

More garbage news about I'll informed citizens.

I guess if they agree with you, they are informed, but you’re not smart enough to question that. 🤷🏼‍♂️

By the way, be smart enough to review your post before you send it. It’s “ill informed”, not “I’ll informed” citizens. Someone with common sense would see that, but that’s obviously not you.
