The wonderful folks at Serve Our Willing Warriors need house prep volunteers to prepare the retreat homes for visiting veterans and their families. With two retreat houses available, there’s plenty of work to do, and it’s a wonderful way to thank our veterans for their sacrifices. House of Mercy is collecting new underwear and socks on Friday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All sizes and both men and women’s underwear and socks are needed. You can drive up to their location, at 8170 Flannery Court, Manassas, roll down your window and toss them in the donation bins to help those in need.
